Pat Frankish
Dr Pat Frankish obtained B.Sc(Hons) in Psychology and B.A (Open) in Humanities and Psychology before undertaking training In teaching children with severe learning difficulties and then a masters in Clinical Psychology. She has a wide experience of psychological issues across age groups. She has a specialist interest in early personality development and the consequences of disturbance through traumatic life events.
She is an active member of the British Psychological Society and was Chair of the Division of Clinical Psychology 1993-1995 and President of the Society 1999-2000. She is also registered with the Health
Professionls Council (HPC).Her Work with early emotional development in people with learning disabilities is published and presented to international audiences. |

Alic Bowen
Alic Bowen is a Consultant Counselling Psychologist with many years of experience working in a variety of
settings including the voluntary and statutory sectors. She holds degrees in Psychology and Counselling Psychology, from the Universities of London, and Surrey, respectively. She is HPC Registered Practitioner Psychologist. Alic is Chartered by the British Psychological Society and holds memberships of the Division of Counselling Psychology, the Special Group in Coaching Psychology and the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy.
Alic enjoys working with a range of adult mental health issues, learning disability, personality disorder, injury rehabilitation, report writing and consultancy services including:
- Individual assessment and treatments for a wide range of adult referrals.
- Therapeutic intervention with adults of all abilities, for a range of issues including anxiety, depression, work related, relationship, personality disorder, post traumatic stress and abuse.
- Group work.
- Providing psychological consultancy and training services for staff groups working with people with learning disabilities and/or mental health issues; organisational, individual and group issues; the evaluation of failing services; and assisting services in adjusting to new ways of working.
- Working in independent hospital and organisational settings.
- Working effectively in multi-disciplinary team environments.
- Working within and across a range of service provisions.
- Providing assessments, medico legal reports, and attending Mental Health Reviews and Tribunals.
- Providing supervision both internal and external to the organisation.
Working as lead psychologist for the organisation, ensuring the effective and efficient management of the complex and diverse caseload that the company is involved in. Alic has a keen interest in severe and enduring mental health issues and in learning disability services. Her work with individual clients has included issues concerning pain management, post traumatic stress, addiction, sexual abuse, and working with both survivors and perpetrators of domestic violence. She is keen to offer support and psychological therapies for those living with mental health and disability, and to engage in support and training for those working within the sector. Her main focus is on helping individuals to achieve their fullest potential. |

Dr. Jo Lilley
Dr Jo Lilley is a Consultant Clinical Psychologist. She holds an honours degree in Psychology (BSc. Hons.) from Goldsmiths College, University of London, and a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (ClinPsychD) from the University of Surrey. She is registered by the Health Professions Council and is a member of the British Psychological Society and the Division of Clinical Psychology.
She is experienced in providing psychological psychotherapy to people across the lifespan and of varying ability, including people with learning disabilities.
Jo is skilled in both psychodynamic psychotherapy and cognitive behavioural therapy. She also works in consultation with teams and organisations to develop therapeutic environments for individuals with learning disabilities and/or mental health issues. She has experience in medico-legal assessment and reporting, specialising in areas of learning disability, post-traumatic stress and sexual offending. She has training in and experience of being an expert witness. She is also experienced in carrying out mental capacity assessments. She has a wide range of experience in other settings, including forensic and low secure settings, adult and older adult mental health, child and adolescent services, and pain management. She is experienced in providing supervision to other psychologists, psychotherapists, Trainee Clinical Psychologists and support staff teams. She has an open and reflective style.
She has given papers and presentations at a number of conferences, including:

Liz Trubshaw
Liz Trubshaw is an Australian-trained Clinical Psychologist. She holds Masters Degrees in Clinical Psychology and in Counselling from the University of South Australia.
She has 7-years experience of working with individuals in a wide range of settings including child and adult mental health, brain injury, physical and intellectual disability, rehabilitation, and oncology. A large part of her role involves conducting psychological and neuropsychological assessments for Court of clients following traffic accidents or work-related injuries. She is also based in a hospital working with people living with enduring mental illnesses and those with age-related disabilities such as dementia. In this environment systemic support of the organisation and its staff is vitally important. Liz provides training and group supervision for carers and trainees working at the hospital as well as attending Tribunals and Hearings for people admitted under the Mental Health Act. She also provides psychological therapies for people experiencing a range of psychological difficulties. Liz is HPC registered. |
